Whether you want to try scuba diving for the first time or explore the reefs of Sosúa Bay as a certified diver, we'll take care of everything — pick-up, gear, guide, and drop-off back at the terminal before your ship departs.

Choose your Experience

Discover Scuba Diving

Never dived before? Perfect. Try scuba diving for the first time with no certification required. A brief training session in shallow calm water followed by a guided open-water dive in the warm, clear waters of Sosúa Bay. Minimum age: 10. Duration: half day.

Snorkeling Tour

Great for families and first-timers. Float above stunning coral reefs and swim alongside tropical fish, sea turtles, and vibrant marine life. All equipment included. No experience needed. Duration: 2–3 hours.

2-Tank Dive for Certified Divers

For experienced divers. Explore two different dive sites along Puerto Plata's north coast — from the colorful reefs of Sosúa Bay to the famous Sosua Wall. 23 dive sites available depending on conditions and your certification level. Duration: half day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need diving experience? No. Our Discover Scuba and Snorkeling options require zero experience. We have options for all levels.

How far are you from the cruise terminal? We're approximately 10 minutes by taxi from Taino Bay Cruise Terminal. We can also arrange pickup directly at the port.

What if my ship departs early? Tell us your departure time when you book and we'll design your experience around it. We've been doing this with cruise passengers for over 10 years.

Is it safe? Absolutely. All our instructors are PADI certified and we operate with full professional safety standards. We've been a PADI dive center since 2002 + managing top 5 stars dive shops in Punta Cana, Cozumel, Cancun and Riviera Maya since 1997.

Can children participate? Yes! Snorkeling is open to all ages. Discover Scuba Diving is available from age 10.
